We met, literally, in a "Cloud." Our friendship first grew and blossomed around shared interests, such as hiking, skiing, cycling and kayaking. Gradually and effortlessly, love appeared and we came to realize how perfectly matched we were, both in our own past experiences and our shared eagerness for adventure. Our new relations greeted us with graciousness and, perhaps, some degree of wonderment. We suspect that some of them were astonished to hear of the several "audacious and vigorous" solo trips we took exploring the cities, mountains and cycle routes in Europe. Eventually we made plans to move in together, not without some trepidation; but all went smoothly and ever so naturally. On the other hand, our cats, Fate and Apollo, still have a few issues to work out! We have many plans for our future which we hope will extend for many years while we continue to enrich each other's lives. Finally, we give thanks for the support and acceptance that we have received from our new families.

You may have noticed that we left the "Registry" section of this website unfilled. That was intentional. We're a mature and established couple and not in need of much. We are aware that many of you will have to travel significant distances to share this joyful day with us. We are so graftful for this and only look forward to your company. If you feel the need to bring something, we promise that a bottle of good wine would not be unappreciated or misused!
